On-Air @ WRDP - LISTEN THROUGH iTunes!
Via webstream, you can listen to me host music every Sunday night 6-9 pm CT, or 7-10 ET. Click on "listen now" after you've clicked this link. I'll leave this post at the top of the blog for awhile. If you listen through iTunes, the radio station can gauge how many listeners are tuning in.
update: Well, the first show is in the books and it wasn't without multiple errors and a weighing nervousness. From what a few listeners have told me, I didn't even have the mic turned up for the first hour! Your feedback is much appreciated. This was the playlist:
First Hour
György Ligeti, 3 etudes for piano/
Strauss R., Metamorphosis/
Goran Ivanovic and Fareed Haque, Gadjorsko Oro and Lament for two guitars/
Mozart, Horn Concerto #1
Second Hour
Schnittke, Cello Concerto (1986)/
Bruckner, two motets: locus iste, Ave maria/
Arvo Pärt, Credo/
Third Hour
Brahms, Clarinet trio, Op. 114/
Larchett, John F, The Dirge of Ossian/
Chopin Etudes, Op 25, #'s 1-6, 12/
Schumann, fantasie, op 17 (last movement)

How 'bout a link to that webstream, or at least an idea of where to find it? ;-)

Bryant honey, I'm listening to you right now and it's a wonderful show, the music is great, but I can't hear your voice!!!! You need to calibrate your mike levels
Is there a playlist posted anywhere?

Thought it went great, and enjoyed the selection. We had it turned up to hear around the house, so I didn't have problems hearing you. Even when the music was playing! :)

I'll have to tune in one of these days, sorry to have missed it on sunday.
How do you feel about more contemporary music on the air? heh.

M. Keiser -
Yes, I love the idea of contemporary music, and I played quite a bit of it on my show sunday. But I'm also trying to expose classical music to people who wouldn't otherwise listen. That's why I'm looking for a mix, and probably more older stuff than new.
M.C-
Yes, tennis floats through my mind whenever I see his name.
