Birthday 25
Falling on my birthday (aug. 30) this year is the debut of Henry Felder's play Monsieur Chopin: the second of a musical trilogy sandwiched between Gershwin and the upcoming Beethoven. I keep forgetting there's something of an admirable theatre culture here in Chicago; a medium I've never seriously explored. And please don't confuse the word "musical" with something else; because I assure you Chopin will not break into histrionics ala Rent.
